Zetpol®

Zetpol® is the world’s leading HNBR elastomer, and is used to create belts, seals, hoses, diaphragms and rolls. Available in a wide range of acrylonitrile levels, it allows a choice of properties such as excellent oil and fuel resistance and low-temperature properties. It is available in a range of Mooney viscosities for greater processing options.

Zetpol is the world's leading HNBR elastomer with products being used in belts, seals, hoses, diaphragms and rolls. Zetpol is supplied in a wide range of acrylonitrile levels which allow for a choice between excellent oil and fuel resistance and improved low-temperature properties. For greater processing options, Zetpol is available in a range of Mooney viscosities. The desired balance between heat and environmental resistance versus dynamic properties can be found by varying the degree of hydrogenation or saturation. More highly saturated grades offer superior heat and environmental resistance while less saturated grades offer improved dynamic properties.

Recent improvements in low temperature flexibility have been made using our proprietary terpolymer technology. Zetpol 3310 and Zetpol 4310 provide a level of low-temperaure performance that was not previously possible with HNBR while also yielding improved high-temperature resistance. In 2004, we pushed the envelope again with a new, fully saturated low-temperature grade, Zetpol 4300. This product withstands the broadest range of temperatures and service conditions of any of our HNBR's while still offering outstanding physical properties.
