Zeotherm ® TPV Product Selection Zeotherm TPVs are comprised of heat- and oil-resistant thermoset elastomers dynamically vulcanized in a plastic matrix. The result is a series of TPVs with the processing ease of thermoplastics and the physical properties of high-performance rubber. | Zeotherm Grade | Key Features |
|---|

Zeotherm 100 Series The Zeotherm 100 Series is based on polyacrylate (ACM) elastomers dispersed in a polyamide (nylon) plastic matrix, with hardness ranging from 60 Shore A to 90 Shore A. Extensive long-term testing has proven grades in this series can survive continuous use, in both air and several automotive fluids, at 150°C and short-term excursions to 175°C. Zeotherm 100 Series grades are optimized for injection molding. - Excellent heat resistance (sustained at 150°C; spikes to 175°C)
- Low temperature performance to -40°C
- Optimized for thermoplastic injection molding processing
- Excellent resistance to many mineral and synthetic motor oils, transmission fluids, and greases
- Bondable to polyamides via over molding (insert and 2-shot)
| | *Zeotherm 110-70B provides a lower cost solution for applications requiring continuous use at 140°C (sustained at 140°C; repeated spikes to 150°C). |
Zeotherm 130, & 150 Series Zeotherm 131-90B, 151-40D, and 150-50D, also based on polyacrylate (ACM) elastomer in a polyamide plastic matrix, are optimized for blow molding via extrusion, co-extrusion, suction, injection, or press-blowing processes. Zeotherm 131-90B, 151-40D, and 150-50D are recommended for blow molding large parts, such as clean air ducts and charge air cooler ducts. Zeotherm 131-90B is designed for applications seeing temperatures above 150°C. The harder grades of Zeotherm are recommend for use in applications where greater dimensional stability, or support, is needed. - Excellent heat resistance (sustained at 150°C; spikes to 175°C)
- Excellent resistance to many mineral and synthetic motor oils, transmission fluids, and greases
- Low temperature performance to -40°C
- Bondable to polyamides via over molding (insert and 2-shot), hot-plate or spin welding, and co-extrusion
- Optimized for large-scale blow molding processes (conventional extrusion; co-extrusion; 3D, suction; sequential)
