Hydrin ® Polyepichlorohydrin Applications
ELECTROSTATIC DISSIPATIVE ROLLS
While other elastomers can be compounded to have electrical properties, only polyepichlorohyrin elastomers posses this characteristic inherently. This unique property enables a much more consistent product since filler dispersion and related interference problems are non-existent. Hydrin terpolymers (GECO) are available in ranges of Mooney viscosity and volume resistivity. Ultra-low Mooney grades enable very soft gum stocks which are optimum in high quality, efficient modern printers. |
| Several Hydrin terpolymer grades have been optimized especially for electrostatic laser printer roll manufacturing processes. These include both injection and transfer molding. Gum stocks produced with our new TX series materials handle easily during even the most demanding milling and prepping operations. |

Hydrin ECO elastomers are ideal for use in office automation equipment like laser printers. The static dissipative property is inherent in the polymer, which leads to very consistent performance.

The excellent permeation resistance to gasses is an attractive feature and reason for using ECO homopolymers in air conditioning hoses and climate control system parts like diaphragms.

|
ECO elastomers are used in many fuel handling applications. These include both fossil and bio-fuels. Tube, intermediate and covers are all areas where Hydrin elastomer systems provide service.
|
|
Hydrin ECO elastomers perform extremely well in the hot and fuel /oil mist laden environments anticipated in modern, efficient engines.
