Description
Automotive floor mats are another appropriate application for Nipol ® NBR Elastomers. While these parts do not typically encounter extreme temperatures or high mechanical stress, floor mats based on compounds of Nipol 33-5SR offer improved oil, grease, and abrasion resistance. These properties are particularly useful in heavy-service and off-road vehicles requiring durable interior components.
Environment
Heavy service vehicles such as earth-moving equipment or industrial fleet trucks frequently require a measure of oil, grease, or chemical resistance in addition to improved wear or abrasion properties. Such enhanced properties are also useful in off-road recreational vehicles where dirt, gravel, or other materials may enter the passenger cabin from use in rugged terrain.
