Description

ZEON produces a number of elastomers and hydrocarbon resins for use in pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs). Quintac SIS is commonly used in hot melt industrial and personal care PSAs as well as solution PSAs. Quintone hydrocarbon resins improve the tack of PSAs.

Acrylic hot melt PSAs can benefit from incorporation of ZEON'S HyTemp polyacrylate elastomers.

Nipol^®

Nipol NBR elastomers are made by emulsion polymerization of 1,3-butadiene and acrylonitrile. The polar acrylonitrile provides the useful contribution for product applications requiring oil and gasoline resistance, abrasion resistance, gas permeability and thermal stability.

Recent advances in polyacrylate (ACM) polymer development continue to result in new, easily processed polymers. The most important properties of polyacrylate elastomers are heat and oil resistance; therefore, they find use in a wide range of automotive applications.
